A Physiatrist is a physician specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Physiatrists treat a wide range of problems from sore shoulders to spinal cord injuries. They see patients in all age groups and treat problems that touch upon all the major systems in the body. These specialists focus on restoring function to people. Updates to the site..
The next event of IAPMR TN chapter was conducted along with the Mid Term CME of IAPMR at Coimbatore in the second week of August 2009 and Dr. T.J.Renganathan was organizing secretary of the event. Under his able guidance we had a wonderful and informative CME. Around 100 participants from all over India participated in the event. The next event of IAPMR TN chapter will be conducted at Stanley Medical College, Chennai by Dr.S.Sampath Kumar by the Hand Surgery and Rehabilitation department on October 11 th, Second Sunday, 2009. All physiatrists from all over the Tamilnadu are requested attend and make the CME a big success.
