A Physiatrist is a physician specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Physiatrists treat a wide range of problems from sore shoulders to spinal cord injuries. They see patients in all age groups and treat problems that touch upon all the major systems in the body. These specialists focus on restoring function to people. Updates to the site..
The next IAPMR TN chapter was conducted by Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine department in association with IAPMR TN chapter at Sri Ramachandra Hospital, Porur, Chennai. Dr.Thiyagarajan and his team has excellently organized the event on April 11th, Second Saturday 2009. There was a CME on Sports Medicine and lectures were very informative. Dr.S.Sunder was felicitated for his 'Best Individual Award, from President of India. The next event of IAPMR TN chapter will be conducted along with the Mid Term CME of IAPMR at Coimbatore in the second week of August 2009 and Dr. T.J.Renganathan will the be organizing secretary of the event. Under his able guidance we hope the mid term CME will be a grand success.
